Hello! I'm Tammy :)

 

I'm a wife of 11 years, and mom of two amazing kids… a 7 year old boy and a 4 year old girl :)

 

I've been a stay-at-home mom since my son was born. Prior to that, I was a full time graphic designer. 

 

My family is originally from the beautiful Caribbean island, Trinidad. Although I was born and raised in Toronto, the Trinidadian culture has always been a strong influence in my life. I was lucky to spend many vacations there, as well as my high school years, and it has shaped who I am today.

 

I have definitely tapped in to my Trini roots when it comes to raising my kids. The values that I grew up with are being passed down, and I couldn't be happier about it!

 

My decision to start this blog was to share my creativity and to continue my passion and skills for designing.

 

Trini Mama is all about creativity and design, as well as tips, tricks and other helpful findings that I've learned along the way, with a Caribbean influence.

I will highlight DIY gifts, crafts, decor, parties and activities that will leave your recipients and kids speechless and appreciative. I think you're going to love all of these ideas!
